Isla, a hacker who leaked classified government information. Isla has spent the last five years locked away at an embassy where she has been put in political asylum. One step outside, and she’ll be arrested for treason. An escaped talking parrot lands on her windowsill—Madame Suzuki, a famous mascot for an environmental activist group. Isla traps her, renames her Amnesty, and enlists the bird for her own cause. Isla's plan fails and the message she hopes the Parrot will spread is stated incorrectly and the government believes that Isla knows more secrets. In the end, Isla loses control and listens as the parrot instructs her to open the window, which is multiple stories above ground, and fly free. Isla jumps.
